Country Music Acres was established in 1997 with the goal of raising family orientated, quality horses who could have a variety of functions.

Breeding to quality stallions we only raise 1 to 3 foals every two to three years.

Resulting fillies are evaluated for breeding potential and stud colts are gelded unless they exhibit exceptional qualities for stallion potential. Then they are evaluated at a year and at 2, then the decision is made whether to geld or not.

While my goal was to raise Purebred Arabians, I became involved with the Morab breed and for several years that was my focus. I had the pleasure of raising several MHA National Champions that went on to new homes and continue to reach new goals with their owners.

In recent years I have been breeding for the Half Arabian multi-purpose horse. That has lead to breeding to a wonderful Paint Stallion who is full of personality, and athletic ability.

The potential of breeding to a National point earner within the Buckskin Association is looming on the horizon. I've known Mr. Hollywood Suprise since he was a baby and have watched him mature into a powerfully built stallion. With his athletic ability in western classes and reining, plus the bonus of his siring all colored foals, a new area is waiting to be discovered.

The horses of Country Music Acres are all people loving and love to please.  Along with their abundantly curious nature and loving attention they make owning them an daily adventure.  Take a walk through the pasture and enjoy the view. Oh yeah.. They love treats!
